Mental Health Crisis Hotline and Crisis Response Team Services

All four Community Mental Health Centers in Jackson County provide crisis intervention services for these centers and the surrounding community. These services are provided 24 hours, 7 days a week via telephone, in-person assessments, site assessments and emergency room assessments. Each crisis intervention team works closely with Missouri Mental Health Crisis Hotline (listed above), hospitals, social services, agencies and local police departments specialized Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT).

These mental health and substance abuse crisis lines can help an individual, family member or community member who needs support through a period of crisis or want general information on mental health or substance abuse services in their community or throughout Metro-Kansas City area.
